A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR MARK
The launching of our Greater Together campaign is a pivotal time in the life and future of our church. God has been moving and working in our church and we are delighted to have had a small part in His kingdom work. First Baptist Church Hallsville has been a devoted church to the Lord for over 150 years and has established a lasting legacy of faith in the community. God has blessed this church in remarkable ways and we are thankful for the example of faithfulness of previous generations. Each generation before us did not look to their own self-interest, but looked ahead to the future to reach the next generation. Now it’s our turn to follow their lead by building for the future to advance God’s kingdom and bring connectivity to our church family by laying down a foundation for the next 150 years.
Our mission is to “love God, love others, and make fully devoted followers of Christ.” Everything we do including this next journey is because of the love of God, the love for our neighbor, and to make disciples. This is a God-sized project that can only be accomplished with your faithfulness, sacrifice, and generosity. Please examine this brochure carefully and prayerfully as you consider your part in this campaign. Whatever you decide to give is a personal decision between you and God. I pray God blesses and encourages you no matter what involvement or commitment God directs you in. We are excited for the days ahead for First Baptist Church Hallsville. We hope you will participate in this kingdom work of building for the future and bringing unity to the body because we are Greater Together.
CAMPAIGN PURPOSE
We want to unite the church in location for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry because we are Greater Together. Also, our church and city are growing and our hope is to build for the future growth for years to come. We are building for Hallsville and for the expansion of the Kingdom of God.
- A home base for members to engage in discipleship, fellowship, worship, and service.
- Ability to efficiently and responsibly utilize our resources to best align with the campus master plan and goals of the church.
- Being ready to receive the growth in our community.
- Bring connectivity to our church family and cultivate a multi-generational church that does life together.
- Create a welcoming space for people to connect before and after Sunday services and Sunday School.
- Establish a family worshipful environment where parents and children can worship together.
- Parents having close proximity to their children.
- Security and safety will improve with more visibility and proximity.
- Visitors will clearly know where to go.

How will we pay for this?
With God’s guidance and the sacrificial giving of First Baptist Church Hallsville, we believe we can reach our goal of building this God-sized project. We will not over extend ourselves and will work within our means to accomplish the goal ahead of us.
How can I help?

- Participate in the campaign events and meetings
- Make a commitment to learn as much as you can about the campaign and be able to communicate with the clarity to others the need for these future facilities
- Give sacrificially and selflessly. This vision can only be achieved through the church’s faithfulness and generosity.
