Each Sunday we are not dismissed, but sent out into Hallsville and beyond to love God, love others, and make fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Our hope is that God will use each of us individually and collectively as His church to proclaim the gospel, serve others, and encourage others to follow Christ.

It is an exciting time in the life of First Baptist Church Hallsville as God has blessed our church with significant growth in recent years and our community is growing rapidly all around us. We have an obligation to meet the spiritual needs of the people currently in our community as well as those who God is leading to move to the area. As we continue to grow and move forward, we know we are Greater Together! We aim to bring more connectivity within the church body, while at the same time prepare for the continued and future growth of FBC Hallsville. We hope to create a space that allows our growing church family to come together for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and ministry.

In Acts 2, it states that all believers were together. They were united together physically by location and spiritually by faith. Together they were fully devoted to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. The early church was Greater Together and through their faithfulness God brought immense fruitfulness including miracles, unity, generosity, hospitality, joyful hearts, a good repute in the community, and more people coming to know Christ and becoming part of the church. Our hope is to emulate Acts 2 as we unite together to lead people to follow Christ and become a part of what God is doing in and through our church.

I hope you will join us in this campaign as we seek to honor the Lord with our time, talents, and treasure to help house the future generations of First Baptist Church

Hallsville and reach a growing community. This is a God-sized project that is going to need all hands on deck because we are Greater Together.

In Christ,

Mark Moore
